Rock formation with ORR view in Koheda Gutta
About few steps away was dangerous rock formation. If you have a strong heart and do not value your life then there is one particular rock on top of which if you reach you can see a beautiful valley showing greenery of Hyderabad and bending ORR cutting the surrounding like knife in a butter. We suggest to not climb the rock as it is very risky and many accidents has happened, Please use your best judgement and take an informed decision.
While returning we were dying of thirst as it was a typical Hyderabadi weather so we stopped by and had few glass of sugarcane juice. There were other local seller also who were selling fruits and other pakoras.

The temple is located about 30 km from Hyderabad central area and is accessible via the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway and Hyderabad ORR. Upon arrival at the village of Koheda gutta, the temple is located 1 km from the center of the village.
By Train
The nearest train station to Koheda gutta Hanuman Temple is Hyderabad Deccan Railway Station, approximately 35 km away. From the station, you can take a taxi or public bus to reach the temple.
By Air
The nearest airport to Koheda gutta Hanuman Temple is Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, approximately 50 km away. From the airport you can reach the temple by taxi or private car.
Best Time to Visit Koheda gutta Hanuman Temple
Generally this places looks the best at the time of dusk and dawn. There are no particular timing of this temple but it would not be suggested to visit late in the evening due to security concerns. We wanted to visit early morning but unfortunately due to some unavoidable tantrum of my husband we were late and we reached their at around 3PM.
Avoid visiting in Rainy season
This place should be avoided in rainy season as the roads are not maintained and it at some place is a steep climb. The rocks also would be slippery and there are already many incident of accident.
