Foods and Snacks available in Qutb Shahi Tombs
Since it was a hot summer day, we felt thirsty and weak as we roamed around. Luckily, we came across a kind old lady who had set out watermelon, pineapple, and cucumber for anyone passing by.
We ate some cucumber and immediately felt relieved. Although there were other options available, such as ice cream kulfi and snacks like chips and biscuits at the nearby canteen, we appreciated effectiveness of the cool and refreshing cucumber.
Things to carry while going Qutb Shahi Tombs
We were aware that we would have to walk between each tomb as we approached the Qutb Shahi Tombs. We eventually became fatigued and thirsty. Fortunately, we came upon a cement fence with a small height close by, so we made the decision to stop and rest for a time.
To relieve our thirst and hydrate ourselves, we pulled out our water bottles and drank some water. Walking between the tombs may be exhausting, especially on a hot day, so we learned the value of bringing water bottles when we visited the Qutb Shahi Tombs.
Therefore, in order to prevent dehydration and tiredness, we encourage anybody who plans to visit the tombs to bring along a water bottle and better to carry umbrella to get rid of sun rays.
Beauty around Qutb Shahi Tombs
We came across a gorgeous banyan tree while we were walking. We were attracted by the tree’s age because of the incredible beauty of the tangle of trunks and observed several blossoming plants that were enhancing the beauty of the tombs as we stood there in awe of the tree’s magnificence.
It was fascinating to watch the way these plants were growing and scattering. The natural beauty of the banyan tree and the blooms, which appeared to have been there for ages, was a moving experience. We were thankful to have had the chance to experience nature’s beauty at its finest.

The photograph shows a striking contrast between the modern tall buildings and the ancient antique architecture. While the aging buildings stand tall, revealing their outstanding detailing and rich history, the tall modern structures in the distance provide a sense of development and innovation.
Moreover, an interesting interplay between the present and the past is created by the lines and angles of the new structure that seem to point towards the older ones.
